This guide explains how to manage return shipping costs and customer charges in your return management system. Understanding these components will help you set up fair and transparent return policies.<\/p>\n
There are 5 types of shipping costs<\/p>\n

Shipping fee:<\/strong>\u00a0Original order shipping fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
Label generation fee<\/strong>: Fee for creating and processing the return label<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
Return fee<\/strong>: Fee charged to customers for processing their return, customizable based on return reason<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
Refund Discount<\/strong>: Deduction from the refund amount based on discounts applied to the original order in Shopify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
Refund Taxes<\/strong>: Amount of tax to be refunded from the original order, as calculated by Shopify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The system will recalculate the total refund amount based on: \nOrder subtotal + Taxes + Shipping fee + Label fee \u2013 Return fee \u2013 Discount<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Example: If original shipping fee was $3,969 \n\u2022 You can enter any amount from $0 to $3,969 \n\u2022 Cannot exceed $3,969 \n\u2022 System shows \u201cMax: $3,969\u201d as reference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
